How do I fix "The client and/or agent is not authorised" error?
If an HMRC account is not enabled for MTD, users will receive an error "The client and/or agent is not authorised" when logging into Open Digital Tax.

To resolve this issue, make sure you enable the account for MTD API.

Once this has been actioned and taken effect, you will be able to login and submit VAT returns.
